Sage offers an nice mix of honesty and praise in her edits. She's extremely good at catching redundancies, grammatical errors, and confusing passages. She's also open to push-back on certain suggestions (although I agreed with most of them). I had an editor in the past whose comments made me feel discouraged. So I was nervous coming to Sage with my recent novel, but I took a risk, and am glad I did. She elevated the project to the point where I feel comfortable publishing it.
